 PITCH & PLAY

Estonian format Best Offer wins PITCH & PLAY LIVE

The 3 finalist formats were presented live in front of the jury and market audience on Wednesday, June 29 in Budapest. The jury distinguished Estonian format Best Offer as the winner of the competition. Best Offer is produced by Osakond and aired on Kanal 2 between March and April 2016. In the format celebrities place personal items on a real-time online auction with the proceeds going to charity. The format was presented live at NATPE Budapest by Nele Paves, Channel Manager at Kanal 11 Estonia.

TOP 3 FINALISTS - June 20

Each format was evaluated by the members of the selection committee based on three criteria: originality (how original is the idea for the format), universality (does the format idea show flexibility for changes and development) and internationality (does the format have the potential to be sold internationally). The selection committee members reviewed each of the ten selected formats and voted in all three criteria with scores from 1 to 5. The final ranking was determined from the sums of all scores of the five selection committee members.

The top 3 finalist formats are: Best Offer (Osakond, Estonia) - a show where celebrities place personal items on a real-time online auction with the proceeds going to charity; Crack Them Up.Kids (Kvartal-95, Ukraine) - entertaining comedy gameshow where young participants win a prize if they make laugh the jury of two acclaimed and popular comedians; Pick the Right Box (Kvartal-95, Gaudi Studio, Ukraine) - a show where ordinary but unique people compete with celebrities in four categories: science, sports, singing and dancing. The 3 finalist formats will be presented live by their creators in Budapest during the PITCH & PLAY LIVE session on Wednesday, June 29.
