Inter Medya announces cooperation with Acun Medya #MIPCOM

Inter Medya, one of Turkey’s most important distributors, and Acun Medya, a pioneer in the development and production of content in Turkey and in a number of other territories, announced their new partnership. From now on, Inter Medya will assume the distribution of Exathlon, Power of Love and My Style Rocks, three ground-breaking formats produced by Acun Medya.

Founded in 2004 by Acun Ilıcalı, Acun Medya has since experienced exponential growth, becoming a powerful global producer that sees Latin America as an ideal region to lead its expansion.

The company’s first production in the Americas, which has since quickly expanded to six markets including into the European region, Exathlon is a competitive reality TV show about the athletic battle between two sports teams. Revolving around the theme of “sports meets reality”, each contestant is selected among Olympic athletes, famous football players, celebrities and everyday people with powerful competitive abilities. With a tendency toward excellent sports rivalry, the program has already been aired in the United States (Telemundo), Mexico (Azteca TV), Colombia (RCN), Brazil (Band) and Romania (Kanal D) with great rating results, increasing the ranking of each channel in their respective countries.
