Da Vinci Media buys rights to popular Russian animated series PinCode
 03 Apr 2020
The Berlin-based company Da Vinci Media has acquired the non-exclusive TV and VOD rights to broadcast for a period of 5 years 104 episodes of the animated series PinCode for the channel Da Vinci TV and the VOD platform Da Vinci Kids. The deal was signedfor the territories of Russia and the CIS countries as well as in Poland, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Greece and Turkey. The first episodes have been scheduled for May 16.

'The series PinCode is perfect for the audience of the Da Vinci channel, so we had no doubts as to whether the deal would be a success. It’s great that PinCode will be broadcast on such a big territory for children and families, who are interested in science and would like to have fun at the same time,' commented Valeriya Korotina, Head of International Marketing at Riki Group.

'We're extremely pleased about the launch of the series PinCode on our channel and the online service Da Vinci Kids. This is a wonderful animation project, which teaches children the basics of physics, chemistry and biology with the help of entertaining stories and engaging personalities. Da Vinci focuses mainly on entertaining and educational content (infotainment) and the series PinCode meets this criterion completely,' said Una Suput, CEO of Da Vinci Media.

The series PinCode is a scientific and educational sequel to the series Smeshariki (Funny Balloons) produced by the Riki Group. It engages children in exploring the world of innovations, technology and discovery, which is fully consistent with the concept of the channel Da Vinci focused on the development of curiosity and critical thinking in children. Today, PinCode has been translated into 6 languages and is broadcast in 53 countries.
