#TVagainstWar: 1069 journalists killed since 1992
Committee to Protect Journalists data show that 1.069 journalists have been killed since 1992. 29 have journalists lost their lives so far in 2014. According to the organization, this year’s deadliest countries are conflict-struck Syria, Ukraine, Iraq, Israel and Palestine. Journalists have also died in countries Africa, South America and Asia this year.
The highest percentage of deaths over the years has been recorded among political journalists (45%) and those covering War (38%). Corruption ranks third with 22%.
