On March 21st HBO will re-launch its linear channels to subscribers in Central and Eastern Europe, bringing together the finest HBO programming in three channels, HBO HBO2 and HBO3. The three themed channels embrace the breadth of content of HBO and local programming for subscribers, including US and local original drama and comedy, documentaries and top movies of every genre.

HBO broadcasts in fourteen countries across the region, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia & Herzogovina, Kosovo, Montenegro and Macedonia.

The HBO channel will offer award winning original production premieres including fiction series and documentaries from the US and programming produced in the region, together with exclusive movie world events including the latest Hollywood blockbuster premieres

Operating 24 hours a day, all main HBO original drama series will be broadcast simultaneously with HBO in the US.

HBO2 brings a wide choice of family-oriented programming up to 24 hours a day, with a huge library of movies and tv series; in the daytime we will offer comedy, family and children's movies; for the evening and nighttime viewing a wide selection of drama, comedy, thriller and action movies and horror films; this is television for all the family. Additionally, HBO2 will now be available in Romania, Bulgaria and the Adria territories, for the first time offering three HBO channels to subscribers in these countries.

HBO3, formerly HBO Comedy, is the new re-branded channel dedicated to HBO original content, bringing subscribers the very best of HBO local and international original productions including award winning HBO US and local original production series and movies. Also available 24 hours a day, HBO3 will offer full seasons of recent and cult HBO US programming, as well HBO Europe local original production series - the finest HBO programming all in one place.

Subscribers to HBO Nordic and HBO Netherlands are unaffected by these changes.
