ITV Inter Medya wins award for best series exporter
ITV Inter Medya has been awarded as the company creating the most income for the TV Series industry through the international sales of Kara Para Aşk (Black Money Love) and Karagül (Black Rose) by Turkey’s Electrical Electronics and Services Exporters Association, the company reports.
Kara Para Aşk produced by Ay Yapım, staring Tuba Büyüküstün and Engin Akyürek has been sold over 107 countries them the champions of 2015. The series Karagül produced by Avşar Film, staring Ece Uslu, Mesut Akusta and Mert Yazıcıoğlu was sold to over 70 countries, has become the second series with the highest exportation numbers. ITV Inter Medya CEO, Can Okan said “It’s a great pride that our series start with an idea, grow into a script and are then aired on TV thanks to the hard work of hundreds of people, are enabled to be watched by hundreds of millions around the world.” He went on to say that the secret of this success lays in not compromising the sale prices any lower than what the worldwide standard produced turkish series deserve and working with the utmost sensitivity. “We are planning on continuing with the success that we obtained in 2015 and to increase our share in the Turkish economy.” RELATED
