It was the ninth time on Thursday evening that Marketing & Media presented its TOP50 - The most influential people in Hungarian media industry. The list was led, also this year, by the CEO of RTL Hungary Gabriella Vidus. The group has a major presence in the TOP50 - ten percent of the influential media personalities represent RTL Hungary, the company reports.

Gabriella Vidus has been working for RTL for 16 years: she was appointed as Managing Director of R-Time Kft. and Commercial Director of RTL Klub in 2008. Last year she was appointed as CEO of the market leading television RTL Hungary. The Group includes RTL Klub and seven other channels: RTLII, Cool, Film+, Film+2, RTL+, Sorozat+ and Muzsika TV. This portfolio of television channels won the ratings competition by far also in 2015, so it is not surprising that Gabriella Vidus came first also this year, which means that she is the most influential person in the media industry.

The TOP50 list includes several other RTL executives in prominent positions. Péter Kolosi is considered as the sixth most influential person in the media industry. Kolosi has been with RTL since the beginning. He became chief editor and host of Fókusz in 1997, and Programme Director of RTL Klub in 2001. He has been also Deputy CEO of RTL Hungary since July 2015.

Vice-President of RTL Group András Rudas came 13th in the list - he has been in charge of supervising the eastern European interests of the group since 2009. He was also Interim CEO of RTL Hungary in 2015, before the appointment of Gabriella Vidus. He has remained Chairman of RTL Hungary since his interim appointment ended.

Gergely Dudás came as 15th in the TOP50 - he joined RTL Klub in 2000 and was appointed as Sales Director in 2008. In the beginning he was responsible only for RTL Klub, and later also for the entire cable portfolio. He has been the Managing Director of R-Time Kft. and also Commercial Director of RTL Klub since the middle of July 2015.

News Director of RTL Hungary Róbert Kotroczó came as 28th. He was appointed as the Chief Editor of Reggeli (daily morning talkshow) on RTL Klub in 1999. He became Chief Editor of RTL News (Híradó) in 2000, and he has been News Director since 2001. He has played a key role in increasing the ratings and prestige of RTL Híradó to the highest level, and making it as one of the leading training institutions of tele-journalism in Hungary.
