Levira’s Supervisory Board appoints Tiit Tammiste as the new CEO
The new CEO of AS Levira, provider of media, cloud, broadcast and network services, is Tiit Tammiste, as approved by the Supervisory Board. Tammiste will assume office on 1 August 2016.
Tammiste worked as the Technology Director at Telia Eesti AS until May 2016, and before that at different positions in EMT and Eesti Telekom. Tammiste is also Member of the Board of the Estonian Association of Information Technology and Telecommunications (ITL). Tammiste was appointed CEO unanimously by the Board – Chairman Tõnu Nirk and members Helmut Egenbauer, Aymeric de Cardes, Roland Chedlivili, Tarmo Porgand and Mario Sõrm. Levira announced the competition for a new CEO in April this year, when the former CEO Mart Einpalu resigned on his own accord on 2 June 2016. Until Tammiste will take up his appointment, Member of the Management Board Aare Siimon will be acting as the CEO. Levira is a provider of cloud, media and broadcast transmission services. Headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia, it operates one of the largest data centers in the Baltics, which complies with the highest security and reliability standards. Levira is the main TV and radio broadcast transmission provider in Estonia and offers TV play-out services for international TV channels and media companies. Levira has three HD OB trucks and UAV (drone) for TV production. RELATED
