All3Media International announced yesterday that Gogglebox is launching in Russia on CTC. CEETV was first to report about the show’s debut two weeks ago.

Known locally as Couch this new local version will peek into eight different Russian homes - listening to what TV viewers really think about big premieres, scandalous shows, Dmitry Nagiev's glasses and Andrey Malakhov's hair style. Season 1 counts 8 episodes and is produced by WMedia.

To date, All3Media International has concluded commissions for more 30 local productions, with Gogglebox on air in South Korea, Australia and throughout Europe, including nine seasons in the UK, six seasons in Poland, four seasons in the US and three seasons in Belgium.
