All3Media delivers close to 500 hours of content to CEE region ahead of #NATPE Budapest
 07 Jun 2017
Leading independent distributor All3Media International has concluded a range of significant volume deals with CEE broadcasters prior to NATPE Budapest, as close to 500 hours of factual and factual entertainment content heads to audiences across the region.

The acquisitions underline strong interest throughout the region in a broad span of genres, including culinary content, as Hungary’s TV2 becomes the new home for Gordon Ramsay’s long-running series The F Word (UK), and interiors programming, with The Great Interior Design Challengefeaturing in three deals, as well as multiple pickups for high-end documentaries covering topics from gardens to travel.

Hungary’s TV2 has secured 63 hours of culinary-themed content, including all five seasons of The F Word (UK) featuring the world’s favourite chef Gordon Ramsay. Delivering a bold, modern and mischievous take on the world of food, The F Word, produced by Optomen Television for the UK’s Channel 4, combines location VTs, kitchen actuality, celebrity interviews, stunts and recipe-based challenges, all set against the backdrop of a working kitchen, as Gordon Ramsay leads an all-amateur kitchen brigade tasked with preparing a three course meal for 50 diners.

TV2 has also ordered two 90’ festive helpings of Gordon Ramsay’s Christmas Cookalong, as Gordon invites viewers into his family home on Christmas Day morning to share tips and expertise on how to prepare the tastiest menu. Finally, Hungarian viewers will have the opportunity to take on Gordon Ramsay’s Ultimate Cookery Course, as TV2 picks up the 20-episode series that sees Gordon revealing everything you’ve ever wanted to know about cooking but were afraid to ask. Both titles are from One Potato Two Potato, a joint venture production company founded by Gordon Ramsay and Optomen Television.

AMC has ordered a package of content totaling 77 hours for Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia, renewing a slew of hit series including the third season of Lion Television’s Big Dreams, Small Spaces with Monty Don, Hotel Hell from One Potato Two Potato, and Studio Lambert’s The Great Interior Design Challenge, alongside seasons seven and eight of all3media America’s Undercover Boss USA and 20 episodes of Gordon Ramsay’s Ultimate Home Cooking from One Potato Two Potato.

In Poland, ITI Neovision has picked up three series and the Christmas special of North One Television’s Travel Man: 48 Hours In… with Richard Ayoade; seasons four and five of Gardener’s World, the iconic long-running favorite produced by the BBC; season three of Big Dreams, Small Spaces and season four of The Great Interior Design Challenge.

FTV Prima in the Czech Republic has acquired five seasons of Gordon Ramsay’s The F Word (UK) in a deal totalling more than 50 hours. At the same time, in a significant deal with Croatia’s RTL encompassing more than 170 hours of content, seasons one and two of Kitchen Nightmares USA, also from Optomen and featuring Gordon Ramsay, have been picked up. Further titles included in this large package deal are five seasons of Undercover Boss USA, three seasons of Maverick Television’s 10 Years Younger and three seasons of the UK’s Tattoo Fixers from Studio Lambert.

Also in Croatia, HRT has acquired three seasons of Big Dreams, Small Spaces, season five of Gardeners’ World, season four of The Great Interior Design Challenge and season six of Spun Gold TV’s Love Your Garden as well as Lion Television’s one-hour special China – Treasures of the Jade Empire and six-hour series Full Steam Ahead.

Ben Packwood, Sales Manager, EMEA North at all3media International, commented, “Our highly-repeatable makeover shows, including iconic Undercover Boss and fashionable Tattoo Fixers continue to prove popular in CEE. It’s also great to see the ongoing popularity of our Gordon Ramsay catalogue, with The F Word (UK) proving its value again and again. This is very exciting as the much-anticipated new The F Word USA has just started broadcasting on Fox.”
