ESG: The Wall wins over Poland, Romania and Belgium
Endemol Shine Group reports today that The Wall has enjoyed record breaking debuts in Poland, Romania and Belgium in the past few weeks.
The first two episodes of the first Polish adaptation of The Wall kicked off on TVP1 with an average audience of 1.65 million and 11.5% share, making it the broadcaster’s highest rated new show in 2017. The first Romanian edition of The Wall has been on a winning track with younger audiences since it launched on Antena 1 on Wednesday, September 13. The series so far has won a peak market share of 20.8% for Adults 15-24, exceeding the primetime average by +20% across the first six episodes. In Belgium, the show kicked off on VTM Tuesday, September 5 and has since delivered an average market share of 24.6%, up +72% on the primetime average for the channel. The gameshow has delivered strong results with younger audiences (A18-44), exceeding the primetime average by nearly double. The series opener doubled VTM’s primetime average with a solid 773.300 viewers and 28.2% market share. RELATED
