Liberty Global Central Europe Group announced that its UPC division is creating a new consumer division by combining marketing, sales and customer operations into one unit.
Severina Pascu will head this new unit as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Liberty Global’s Central Europe Group. She will report directly to Eric Tveter, CEO for the Liberty Global Central Europe Group.

The merger of divisions will put more focus on customers, creating a new consumer unit and bringing the marketing, sales and customer operations activities under the same leadership, according to UPC.

Pascu will assume a new role as COO for the entire Central Europe Group in addition to her current role as Managing Director Central Eastern Europe (CEE). She will coordinate the end-to-end consumer activities in Switzerland and Austria while maintaining her current responsibility for the operations in Poland, Hungary, Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and the DTH activities based in Luxembourg.
