NATPE BUDAPEST INTERNATIONAL, the pre-eminent global TV market and conference focused on the CEE, EMEA and worldwide content business, and CEETV, the leading media platform for regional TV intelligence, have announced they will again be hosting PITCH & PLAY LIVE! in Budapest, Hungary in June 2018. NATPE BUDAPEST INTERNATIONAL, which includes a robust content marketplace, top-level studio screenings and business-focused conference sessions, will take place at the InterContinental Hotel between June 25-28.

Welcoming the most innovative regional content producers, the goal of PITCH & PLAY LIVE! is to showcase and recognize original format ideas with international potential from the CEE and EMEA regions. Any non-scripted format created after June 1, 2017 can be submitted for consideration in the competition. From all entries, up to ten titles will be selected and reviewed by an international committee of global content industry professionals, who will select three finalists. The top three formats will be presented at a dedicated session by their creators in front of a jury of highly respected TV professionals during NATPE BUDAPEST INTERNATIONAL. After deliberation by the jury one format will be named the winner of PITCH & PLAY LIVE!

This year NATPE is offering producers the opportunity to attend NATPE BUDAPEST INTERNATIONAL and participate in PITCH & PLAY LIVE! for a single participation fee of 100 EUR (or USD$125) + VAT. Producers can submit their content for the contest and also receive one full registration for NATPE BUDAPEST INTERNATIONAL, providing complete access to the entire marketplace and conference. In addition to media coverage, the winning format will receive a registration and two (2) nights of hotel accommodation for NATPE MIAMI 2019 alongside development meetings with leading distributors during the event.

Submissions must include a one-page description of the format in English, a trailer of three minutes or less and at least one full episode, both with English subtitles. NATPE will review all registrations to ensure that all Producers are vetted and approved for participation.

The deadline for submissions is May 21, 2018.
