Twofour Rights sells What Would Your Kid Do? to Hungary and Turkey ahead of #NATPEBudapest
Twofour heads to NATPE Budapest International later this month, building on the recent format commissions to broadcasters in Hungary and Turkey.
TV2 Hungary and Kanal D have both secured deals to make local versions of smash hit factual entertainment format. They will go into production across the summer. What Would Your Kid Do? challenges parents to guess how their children will behave in a variety of situations, cleverly merging specialist factual child development psychology with an entertaining gameshow mechanic. The launch of What Would Your Kid Do? on ITV, hosted in the UK by Jason Manford, attracted 3.9 million viewers and 18% share, smashing the ITV slot average and making it the best performing new factual entertainment show on ITV in almost a year. The show beat slot average by 2.8 share points and performed particularly well with children and attracted one of the channel's biggest 16-34 audiences. The accompanying YouTube channel has acquired over 16 million views since the show launched earlier this year. The show has been commissioned for a second series. Sales were brokered by Sales Executive Marta Csizmadia as she prepares to attend NATPE in Budapest (Suite 249B) offering a diverse slate of formats and finished shows in a catalogue that numbers over 1200 hours of content. The titles include time travel format This Time Next Year, relationship format A Night With My Ex, the hit Weekender brand including the brand new spin off series Weekender Boat Party, and high volume daytime show, Extreme Cake Makers.
