Marina Williams confirmed last week that she has left the management of Endemol Shine Group. She served as COO of International Operations for the past three years and before that as CEO of Central and Eastern Europe and MENA regions. She left the company officially on July 31.
 
Marina Williams joined Endemol Shine Group back in 2008, taking on the challenging CEE region and leading the company to leadership in CEE in terms of format sales. In 2013, she added the MENA region to her remit and in the summer of 2015 became Endemol Shine Group’s COO of International Operations.
 
In an internal memo, commenting on her nearly 10 years of work for the company, Williams said: “It's so sad to leave such an amazing team and such an amazing Group, but after almost a decade I feel excited about the new challenges.
 
I feel particularly proud of establishing Russian Joint Venture WeiT Media, now one of the top three producers in the country, turning Poland into production hub and ‘center of excellence’, delivering top results in India during my management there and developing and leaving behind most professional format distribution team which will continue to carry high ESG flag in numerous territories and deliver royalties to all your Operational Companies.”
 
Nicola Bamford, CEO of International, commented: “In her roles leading CEE, Middle East, India and Africa regions, and more recently as COO for International Operations, Marina has been a great champion for these territories and the local management and teams.  She has been responsible for countless non-scripted and scripted sales within them. She has pushed ancillary revenue generation and created innovative deal structures.
