VIS sells another Argentinean hit for adaptation in Greece
Viacom International Studios (VIS) Americas announced the sale of the remake rights to Bells at Night (Campanas en la Noche) to Greek production company Green Pixel Productions. The first ever remake of the Argentinian format will premiere on Alpha TV.
The deal follows the previous pickup of two other VIS formats: Educando a Nina and Amar despues de Amar. Bells at Night premiered in Argentina on January 14, exceeding a 40% share and leading its time slot. This 80-episode romantic thriller also has a digital spin off, La otra cara de Rita, an exclusive web series. The story begins with Luis escaping after being unjustly accused of his wife’s death. He takes his baby with him while only a teenager witnesses the escape. Luis adopts a new identity and remakes his life. Ten years later, life reunites Luis with that teenager who saw him leave. His past, from which he thought he had escaped, pursues him and endangers everything he has. Meanwhile, Luciana is a woman subjected an abusive husband. Two stories that come together for love and that depend on each other to finally get out of the nightmare in which they are trapped. Only love can save them. RELATED
