Mistco, official distributor of TRT, is bringing a brand-new drama to MIPCOM.

Released in September, My Champion focuses on the touching story of a former boxer who returns to boxing rings to save his sick son’s life. Kafkas (Tolgahan Sayisman), who experiences an unfortunate event during the peak of his career, says goodbye to boxing. Losing his wife in the same period, Kafkas goes through very tough challenges while trying to survive and taking care of his son, Gunes.

In the lead roles, Tolgahan Sayisman (Tulip Age, Never Let Go) and Yildiz Cagri Atiksoy (Time Goes By) are starring in this new drama.

My Champion is the dramatic story of a father and his son drifting from an Anatolian village to Istanbul. Kafkas will compete for one last round to save Gunes and push all the limits. This premium series is a great combination of emotion, bravery, drama and heroism, alongside with its high production quality.
