The Turkish production company TIMS&B signed a co-production deal to jointly develop content which will be distributed by Inter Medya. The agreement was signed at Inter Medya’s MIPCOM pavilion.

Inter Medya will hold worldwide distribution rights to the titles that will be developed in partnership between TIMS&B and Plano a Plano.

Burak Sağyaşar, CEO of TIMS&B Productions, said: “Today two successful production companies TIMS&B Productions and Plano a Plano are setting off on a new journey together. I must say it is a big honor because it is the first time a Turkish and a Spanish company are combining their forces to achieve success in the international market. Together we will produce an original series which will be a Turkish-Spanish co-production in the truest sense of the word. We’ll bring the two cultures together and get to touch mutual feelings. Until today, script rights and series had been sold or adapted between two countries. But today for the first time we will embark on a period of mutual development and production. Our aim is to produce series with Spanish and Turkish drama codes that will be successful all over the world. In other words, we will produce a Spanish series with Turkish DNA, so we will get to bring the best of both worlds together now that both countries are thriving in production.”
