Poland’s Golden Media acquires Dance Revolution
Armoza Formats, part of ITV Studios, has today announced that Dance Revolution, the primetime dance competition from Québecor Content and Fair-Play that originally aired on Canada’s TVA, has now been taken in Poland by Golden Media Poland.
Last week the hit show was announced a Rose D’Or finalist in the studio entertainment category and a Russian adaptation of the series was announced during MIPCOM that will air on leading broadcaster Channel 1. The Chinese adaptation is currently airing on Hunan TV, marking the first series to come from a co-development deal between the broadcaster and Armoza Formats, and is winning the slot with over 20 million viewers per episode. Dance Revolution (22x90’) is the primetime dance show that welcomes all dancers to compete and be judged with a 360˚ shot of their most spectacular “Revolution” moment using state-of-the-art technology. In every stage, the three masters will have the help of the Revolution moments – capturing the dancers’ precise and timeless movements to make sure that they make the right decision. The dancers’ performances and the breath-taking Revolution moments will decide the four finalists, who will showcase their talent in the hope of winning the $100k grand prize. Avi Armoza, CEO of Armoza Formats, “We are thrilled with the success ‘Dance Revolution’ is seeing worldwide and are excited to be adding Poland to the list of countries who want to revolutionize their dance competition formats. The unique viewing experience that the show offers through its 360-degree technology has led to strong interest worldwide.” RELATED
