TVP Sales announces new deals
Japan, France, Hungary, Slovakia, Ukraine – viewers from these countries will soon enjoy TVP productions.
The first season TVP1 hit The Crown of Kings has already been well-acclaimed in Hungary. In 2020 Hungarian public television MTVA acquired the rights to the second season of The Crown of Kings with 161 episodes. In addition, Hungarian viewers will have the opportunity to watch a dozen of Polish films including Pardon, Frederic, Faustina, Blindness, Everything will be Fine, 1989, etc. The documentary Love and Mercy" will also be available in France. MTVA is not the only public television that went shopping to TVP in the first months of 2020. The Slovak Television STV acquired a license for the legendary children series Teddy Drop-Ear and The Olympics of Bolek and Lolek. The Slovak broadcaster will also broadcast the films With Fire and Sword), Hi, Tereska and Edi. Moreover, the series Days of Honor remains very popular. This time the rights to all seven series were acquired by Ukrainian broadcaster. Classics lovers from Japan will be happy too. Krzysztof Kieślowski's Decalogue, his early films and a documentary about the director will be screened in Japanese cinemas and released on DVD and Blu-ray. RELATED
