Globo's Total Dreamer debuts in Hungary
Globo continues to expand the presence of its productions in Eastern Europe throughout 2020. With productions on the air throughout the year in countries such as Croatia, Albania, North Macedonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Georgia and Romania, the next stop is Hungary, the company announced.
Total Dreamer (Totalmente Demais) now airs on Life TV, belonging to the Hungarian group Media Vivantis, in the 20.00 slot. The telenovela debuted last week and is already winning over the country's audience and gaining positive ratings. According to Angela Colla, Head of International Sales at Globo, the increase in the volume of deals in the Eastern European region is directly connected to an identification of the audience by the stories. “This market is very receptive to Globo's telenovelas and series, due to its engaging narratives and light themes, which talk to all audiences, regardless of language.” Written by Rosane Svartman and Paulo Halm, and directed by Luiz Henrique Rios, Total Dreamer tells the story of Eliza (Marina Ruy Barbosa), who flees the countryside of Rio de Janeiro and starts living on the streets of Rio’s capital. With the help of Jonatas (Felipe Simas), she starts selling flowers in restaurants and bars in the City Center. Thus, they build a beautiful friendship and genuine love. Licensed to more than 60 countries, Total Dreamer has recently been re-broadcast in Brazil and has broken historical records for audience reach. The series is currently on air in Portugal and on HTV1 in Croatia. RELATED
