At the Border (https://pitchplay.tv/ceescreenings/63)
Genre: Drama series with humoristic elements, 236x45'

The story follows Grandma (The Boss) of a family tobacco smuggling business on the border between Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The story involves several families in the village. The Boss decides to leave the business to her granddaughter, coming back from the capital city after graduation. Although the granddaughter has to get married first. Three of the local guys compete for her, their families help them to eliminate competition which leads to numerous humoristic situations. However, she will fall in love with the one she is not supposed to - the policeman, a new border officer coming to solve the boarder issue.

The series was developed by the same team that hit series No Matter What. The series was adapted in Hungary (RTL Klub) and started broadcasting this year achieving an audience share 40% above RTL Klub’s PT average, making it the most watched series in Hungary. The second season is now on air. Recently the format for the series was acquired in Slovakia. In Croatia, the first season achieved 37% share in the target demo. The Croatian original performed also strong and above average in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and most recently Slovenia where it was one of the most watched series in 2021.

No Matter What (https://pitchplay.tv/ceescreenings/62)
Genre: Drama series with humoristic elements, 350x45'

An old man (the grandfather) had lived alone in a colorful little village. After he passed away, in his will, he left one million euros to his three grandchildren, on one condition, that for one full year they live in his shabby little house in the village, in the middle of nowhere. If they fail, the money would go to the village. His money could save the village that faces a very bad future with all the young people leaving for better life, and initially the villagers will do their best to make grandchildren leave so that they could get the million.

This is one of Nova TV’s best-selling formats for a series, being successfully adapted in Bulgaria (bTV), Ukraine (1+1) with audience share 30% above PT average, produced 2 seasons; in Hungary (RTL Klub) produced 4 seasons as the series achieved a huge success and most recently in Greece (ERT1), where the series started in Fall 2020 doubling the channel average, with the second season now on air. In Croatia, the first season achieved 35% share in the target demo. Last year, due to the COVID crisis and production challenges, Nova TV decided to rerun the series in primetime and it achieved results similar to the first run. The finished version of the series also performed extremely well throughout the whole region – Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Slovenia.

The Cops (https://pitchplay.tv/ceescreenings/64)
Drama series with humoristic elements, 202x45'

The story is about the adventures of a tiny police squad and their Chief Bozena. They operate from the smallest police station in the country in a quaint little crime free town Dizmovo. Life is good for the local police officers with regular income and not much work to do. This proves to be a problem, though, when they receive notification from the headquarters that their police station is about to close down due to inactivity. They all hate the idea of transfer as each has their own individual ties in the community. Therefore, they come up with a great but rather unorthodox idea: They will create a “crime” which they can “investigate” and show that they are busy. However, with time and involvement of other people in town, their make-believe “crime” becomes too overwhelming for their policing skills and their ingenious plan falls apart in an unpredictable sequence of hilarious and entertaining events.

The series was launched in Fall 2020 with increasing audience shares. The first season ended with 27% share in the target demo, making it the winner in its slot. The second season is due to start broadcasting this Fall. So far, the series has been sold as finished version to Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
