Bert Habets officially named Antenna Group CEO
Antenna Group, the leading multinational media organization, announced this afternoon that Bert Habets is taking over the position of CEO.
As CEETV reported last month, Habets was considered the favorite for the position which was vacated by Jonathan Procter in August this year. Bert Habets's significant path and know-how in the international media and digital media market is fully in line with the development strategy of the Antenna Group, which now addresses a global market of over 150 million viewers, the company said. Bert Habets will supervise all media assets (Television, Pay TV, OTT, Productions, Radio, Digital Media, Music, Publishing and Education) of the ANTENNA Group worldwide. Bert Habets, former CEO of RTL Group, has deep knowledge and long experience in leading positions in international media organizations. At the same time, he combines strategy with business planning and effective implementation. The President of Antenna Group, Theodore Kyriakou, stated: "I welcome Bert to the Antenna Group. Its course and strategic thinking will strengthen the already successful development trajectory of our Group worldwide." Bert Habets said: "I'm excited to be a member of the Antenna Group. The long history of the Group combined with the vision for continuous progress and avant-garde in the media market, is a great challenge for me. In this exciting situation, I look forward to working with Theodore Kyriakou and my colleagues at the Antenna Group, and together to chart new paths of development.” RELATED
