The teams of CEETV, TVBIZZ and TVBIZZ Magazine have started preparing a special publication for the upcoming MIPTV market in Cannes which will tell the stories of Ukraine’s wartime TV and media heroes. We are now working closely with our Ukrainian colleagues to tell the international industry what is happening in Ukraine.

We will shed light on how Ukrainian media joined forces to keep the country informed and sustain the fighting spirit of Ukrainians with 24/7 marathons on all key national broadcasters. We will show how they make their news live from the shelters during the horrendous bombing in Kyiv. We will tell how reporters work “on the field” while there are fights near-by, and also what their reality looks like when they are not working.

Our publication will also tell what is happening to the production sector in Ukraine and how the local media fight against Russian propaganda channels on a global level and provide objective information from the country to their international partners. Others are campaigning to raise awareness and apply pressure on the political establishment by organizing protests in cities around the world. We will also tell how international companies support their employees in Ukraine.

Our team will also chronicle how the international media reacted to Putin’s war in Ukraine.

We invite everyone willing to support this project to make a donation. The collected funds will be used for printing and delivery expenses as we would like to bring as many copies as possible to Cannes. All excess funds will be donated to organizations in Ukraine which we will coordinate with our colleagues there.
