This morning the official account of Anonymous announced that: “The hacking collective Anonymous hacked into the Russian streaming services Wink and Ivi (like Netflix) and live TV channels Russia 24, Channel One, Moscow 24 to broadcast war footage from Ukraine [today]”.
The post features a video with channels being switched and showing war videos from Ukraine. There is also the text: We are ordinary citizens of Russia We are against the war on the territory of Ukraine Russia and Russians are against the war! This war has been started by Putin’s criminal authoritarian regime from behalf of ordinary RF citizens Russians stand up against the genocide in Ukraine!” CEETV checked the status of the two services at 10.02 Moscow time. All channels on Wink were broadcasting normally, while on ivi only Rossiya 24 was working properly, with Perviy and Moscow 24 taken down. At 14.08 all channels were airing normally on both service, while the internet broadcasts on Perviy’s official website were inaccessible. RELATED
