TV3 special on Ukraine hit by avalanche of criticism
'People need more adequate information and analysis right now but we got none of that'. The special about Ukraine that aired on TV3 Estonia on Sunday night received a devastating response on social media, Elu24 writes.
The program Live From the Ukrainian Border with Marii and Urmas Eero (Otse Ukraina piirilt Marii ja Urmas Eeroga), which aired on TV3 this Sunday, showed some footage from the Polish-Ukrainian border and included the opinion of several political experts, such as the former Commander of the Defense Forces Ants Laaneots and the politicians Igor Taro, Yana Toom, Andrei Hvostov, Marina Kaljurand and Yevgeny Ossinovsky. The two-and-a-half-hour special, however, got a lot of negative feedback on TV3's Facebook page by the start of the new week. More than 130 people have responded with negative comments, while the hosts were mainly accused of inciting fear and interfering with the guests. Ants Laaneots, who was in the studio, even asked the presenters not to scare people unnecessarily. RELATED
