YouTube removes two channels of Russian propagandist
YouTube has removed Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov's channel "Solovyov Live" and the channel of his program "Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov".
As Solovyov was quoted as saying by Russian media, he considered it a "declaration of war" and called for the closure of YouTube in Russia. At the same time, the propagandist is going to continue to publish his videos on the platform, posting links to the broadcast on social networks immediately before the broadcast. Solovyov is a mouthpiece of Kremlin propaganda, known for his anti-Ukrainian and anti-Western statements. In August 2014, Ukraine was included in the sanctions list for active support of the Russian occupation of Crimea and part of Donbas. The propagandist is one of the persons against whom EU sanctions have been imposed. They include the freezing of assets within the EU, a ban on entry into and transit through the EU. In February 2021, Latvia banned him from entering the country due to the glorification of Nazism. RELATED
