PRO TV airs Romania’s biggest live charity concert
 11 Mar 2022
“For every million people who are afraid, there are one million people who are not afraid to help. These days, this is our mission, to help the Ukrainian people. Together, We Are One! SAGA Festival, PRO TV, KISS FM and the City Hall of Bucharest join forces for the biggest live charity concert in Romania, to help the Ukrainians who now live an extremely difficult time, Saturday, March 12, at the National Arena in Bucharest,” PRO TV announced in a press release.

“As humanity has no borders, we believe that now is time to get together and show unity to all those in need. We invite all the TV stations and online companies in Romania to air the concert on Saturday together, so that our message to help in a tangible manner can reach the entire Romanian population.”

“PRO TV will be donating all its advertising revenues from the broadcast of the concert and we invite all media companies to do the same, in order to provide basic needs from food and clothes, to medicines and shelter for the ones that were forced to leave their homes. All donations will be made to Red Cross Romania.”

Over 35 well known Romanian artists, such as Andra, INNA, Carla’s Dreams, Irina Rimes, Delia, Horia Brenciu and international ones, Armin Van Buuren, Tom Odell and Jamala, said yes to this initiative. It is the greatest charity concert organized in Romania, with 8 hours of music and support. Starting 20.00, Andreea Esca and Andi Moisescu will be hosting the event and will be aired LIVE on PRO TV. Only together, we can prove that humanity has no borders and in these difficult times, solidarity is the value of utmost importance.

“Romania wants to get involved in actively helping the victims. Hundreds of thousands Ukrainians have left their homes and are now refugees in our country, and offering them a helping hand is not a one-time action. Going back to normality takes time and sustained effort from all of us. This is the moment for each one of us to join forces into one movement!” – PRO TV concluded.
