Film.UA directs sales revenue to the army and war victims
 14 Mar 2022
Film.UA Distribution has decided to transfer the proceeds from the sale of rights to funds supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine, humanitarian aid to war victims and refugees, Media Detector reports.

The film Cherkasy, the money for the sale of which in the Czech Republic was transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was also presented to TVP, as well as Estonian, Lithuanian and Latvian channels.

“We would like to thank our colleagues from Germany - ZDFE, partners from Poland, Romania, Slovenia and Moldova, who also buy content and thus support the initiative to transfer money to funds, including - Come Back Alive and the humanitarian fund Red Cross in Ukraine,”said the director of content distribution at Film.UA Group Yevhen Drachov.

Film.UA Distribution also offers other content for purchase: the fantasy The Stronghold, the noir detective Hide and Seek, the animated film The Stolen Princess, the detective series The Sniffer and others.

"Many of our partners have extended the rights to already purchased content. Yes, the third season of the costume drama Love in Chains is currently being shown on South Korean television, and after each series the interview of the Ambassador of Ukraine will be broadcast," the press service of the film company said.

In order to promote Ukraine in the world, some content, including cultural and ethnographic, the company offers foreign broadcasters for free. These are projects Back to Basics, Back to Basics. Wedding, Borsch, etc.

The company's children's content (for example, the films The Stronghold, Foxter and Max and others) was purchased by a distributor in the Baltics, ACME Film, to organize cinema screenings for Ukrainian refugee families.

For Ukrainian and world viewers, Film.UA Group creates promo videos and videos that record the war crimes of the Russian army.

Film.UA Group encourages other Ukrainian producers and content producers to join this initiative. "We are ready to act as intermediaries with zero commission and send all the money to the funds," adds Drachov.
