Regional public TV nets air own four-hour telethon
Suspilne’s regional TV channels have fixed the broadcasting slot of the TV marathon “Suspilne. Resistance" - every day from 19.00 to 23.00.
The interregional telethon in the branches and digital platforms of Suspilne has been running since February 25, but until March 17 it had no fixed time and was aired in blocks during the day. Suspilne journalists work in every region of Ukraine and join the live broadcast of the TV marathon with news about "hot" regions. The broadcaster will inform about international events related to the Russian invasion of Ukraine - from official statements of opinion leaders to live broadcasts from international institutions. The team of UA: Kultura TV is working on the marathon together with the regional journalists of the public broadcaster, which is preparing blocks on how the art community in Ukraine and the world reacts to Russian aggression. At the end of the marathon, TV presenter Viktor Diachenko comes out with a satirical column-selection of news about the state of affairs in Russia titled "What's in the Swamps." "We tell and show how the whole of Ukraine lives now. What about the economy, education, medicine and social protection? Many people are now looking for answers on how to live and work, and we as a public broadcaster are helping them find them. Not only do we inform about the hottest spots, and we do it for the safety of military and civilians, but we also give advice that saves lives during hostilities, share stories of migrants and volunteers on the front and rear, talk about helping victims of Russian aggression, and we also refute the fakes that the enemy is trying to spread,” said the editor of the interregional TV marathon Suspilne. Resistance Olga Krupnik. Viewers can watch the regional regional TV channels online on the websites of the branches. RELATED
