Advertising will return to Ukrainian TV in the coming weeks
Advertising will return to the air of some Ukrainian TV channels in the coming weeks. This was announced by Andriy Partyka, General Director of sales house Ocean Media Plus. According to him, although most channels now broadcast the united marathon of news, STB, TET and 2+2 and others will soon resume their airing.
“In total, we managed to combine a dozen TV channels into a package, which we will sell in a simple way, because the TV measurement panel is not working at the moment. We return to the only possible way to sell advertising: to simplify the negotiation process. More precisely, the package placement of spots. The price of one TV show is UAH 1.000 per spot, the minimum possible deal for 500 broadcasts is UAH 500.000. We are not talking about traditional annual agreements now," Andriy Partyka said. Placement will take place evenly on all channels in the package. The company will work on full prepayment and only with those customers who have closed most of their pre-war receivables on the return date. "Already a dozen customers want to come out in the first weeks of the resumption of advertising and the circle of these customers is expanding. Some advertisers are now looking for a new creative strategy, and some plan to air with traditional messages. Of course, you will need to pick up entertaining and fun elements, or re-sound the material. Our partner, the Starlight Media group and their marketing department have agreed to do a quick adaptation of the videos or prepare new materials for the air at the request of our clients for quite a bit of money,” added Partyka. In addition to direct advertising on television, they also plan to return sponsorship events. Since February 24, when Russia launched a full-scale offensive against Ukraine, most national channels began broadcasting a joint news marathon, and advertising was suspended. RELATED
