Media Heart of Ukraine campaign launched
The National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting has launched the Media Heart of Ukraine project. These are stories about Ukraine's information resistance and how Ukrainian media outlets and providers have suffered from Russian aggression.
"Russians are shelling TV towers, destroying offices, smashing equipment, kidnapping and killing Ukrainian media people. Our information fighters, risking their lives, provide Ukrainian broadcasting to the last in the occupied territories, broadcast in extremely difficult situations. We must collect the crimes of the racists for the tribunal against the Russian occupiers. And the world should learn about every history of Ukrainian media resistance and help rebuild what has been destroyed. We will talk about media outlets, TV and radio organizations, providers from Bucha, Mariupol, Berdiansk, Trostianets, Kharkiv, Melitopol, Kherson, Chernihiv, Sumy and other cities where Ukrainian broadcasters courageously defend the Ukrainian information front," the National Council said. The first story tells about the Pohliad TV channel in Bucha and the Best provider. The occupiers smashed the TV channel's office, destroyed equipment, and smashed the kitchen and toilet with sledgehammers. The Russians removed the equipment and destroyed the newly installed 3D studio. The channel's employees were not injured and were evacuated from the city in time. They are currently volunteering. The Best provider was rebuilding its networks under fire to keep the Internet running, but on March 25, workers had to flee to avoid capture. Not everyone was able to leave, it is known about the death of the company's driver. There is no connection with several other employees, their fate is unknown. RELATED
