Lithuanian equipment will help restore broadcasting in Ukraine
The State Concern of Broadcasting, Radio Communications and Television (KRRT) received equipment from its Lithuanian counterparts to restore television and radio broadcasting in Ukraine.
10 FM radio transmitters and 9 digital television transmitters were donated as humanitarian aid. They were provided by the Broadcasting and Television Center of the Republic of Lithuania (AB Lietuvos radijo ir televizijis centras). "The equipment handed over by our Lithuanian friends has already arrived in Ukraine and will soon be installed at TV and radio stations in the regions with the most damaged telecommunications infrastructure. FM transmitters will be used for the reconstruction and development of the NOTU network in Mykolayiv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, Sumy, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions over the next two weeks," KRRT said.
