MGU: Ukraine 24 not moving to Poland
In a statement, Media Group Ukraine denied information about the “alleged” relocation of news channel Ukraine 24 to Poland. The press service of the media group noted that the information of the Polish newspaper Rzeczpospolita is not true. The channel remains and continues to operate in Ukraine.
Ukraine 24 will officially ask the Rzeczpospolita editorial office to refute this information. "In Warsaw, the channel has only those employees who are working on the FreeDom project," the press service of MGU added. On April 24, Rzeczpospolita reported that Ukraine 24 and its employees were moving to Poland. The publication reported that there would be a studio of the TV channel in Warsaw, which would create programs and send them to Ukraine for broadcast. The programs will be broadcast in Ukrainian and English. According to Rzeczpospolita, work on moving the channel to Poland could have started in May. Currently, Ukraine 24 broadcasts in Poland on the Polsat Plus Group platforms and on the Interia.pl portal, and can also be watched by users of Orange and Vectra TV networks and UPC Polska subscribers.
