TVR starts Romanian language courses for Ukrainian kids
TVR2 is expanding the Teleşcoala (Teleschool) project, bringing Romanian language lessons for Ukrainians. Thus, from May 6, every Friday, the space allocated to Teleşcoala will be dedicated to Romanian language lessons for Ukrainian refugees.
Since the start of the war, more than 30.000 Ukrainian children have entered and remained in Romania. For them, the Ministry of Education has issued an order regarding the distribution in the educational units in the country or the possibility to attend classes as audiences, without being enrolled in the respective school and without giving exams, announces TVR. In support of those who were forced to flee the war, Romanian Television will broadcast, on May 6, on TVR2, within the project Teleschool, special lessons in Romanian, as a foreign language for Ukrainians in the country.
