Kyiv Media Week travels to Brno, Rome and Cannes
The organizers of Kyiv Media Week (KMW) announced yesterday that this year the international media forum will be held in a traveling format due to the war in Ukraine.
A range of special guest sessions are developed in partnership with the leading European festivals and markets and will be hosted in three different countries. Six KMW sessions will take place within the official programs of The International Festival of Web and TV Series Serial Killer (September 20-25, Brno, Czech Republic); The International Audiovisual Market MIA (October 11-15, Rome, Italy); The 38th International Co-Production and Entertainment Content Market MIPCOM (October 17-20, Cannes, France). KMW’s panel discussions, screenings, and showcases featuring top execs of the leading Ukrainian media companies and their foreign partners are designed to present the strengths of the Ukrainian TV and film market, its viability, and its readiness to build sustainable international collaborations. The focus will be on the industry’s recovery after Ukraine's victory, modeling possible scenarios for each media sector development, and adapting to the new reality together with and as a part of the European community. The organizer of KMW is Media Resources Management (MRM), the first media consulting company in Ukraine, providing comprehensive services in film, TV, and other creative industries since 2005.
