History launches its first Romanian production
History announces the launch of its first Romanian production, The Mystery of the Dacian Gold, a hybrid docu-reality show with charming landscapes, historical reenactments and stories full of magic. In the main roles of this adventure are the well-known actor Paul Ipate and the adventurer Simina Cernat. The premiere of the first episode will take place on October 31, at 21.00.

The fascinating story of Dacian gold will take viewers to the heart of Romanian history and identity, still full of questions and mysteries, going beyond the history books and official narratives. The Mystery of the Dacian Gold marks an important stage in History Channel's focus on significant characters and events from Romania's history", said Izabella Wiley, General Manager of A+E Networks CEE. Starting from ancient Rome and ending up in the riverbeds around Sarmizegetusa, the "Stonehenge" of Romania, the two explorers meet local experts and gold seekers who have immersed themselves in the mysteries and lands where today the most large reserves of gold in Europe. Viewers will see Paul and Simina in caves, rivers, deep forests and abandoned mines, as well as high up, guided by infrared technology. RELATED
