Tkachenko: EU plans new sanctions against Russian media
The European Union plans to introduce additional sanctions against Russian media, Oleksandr Tkachenko, Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, said on the air of the United News marathon.
"Perviy, NTV, REN TV are broadcast on European satellite channels, so we asked this question and received assurances that such sanctions will be introduced at the European level, as well as the possibility that on OTT platforms in Europe Russian propaganda channels were not broadcast. Currently, we ask the question more broadly, about "information Ramstein", because, unfortunately, the Russian media is quite active in Asia, Africa, and Latin America, so we still have to fight this evil, a propaganda source of war all over the world will have to," said Tkachenko. The minister hopes that new restrictions against Russian media will be included in the next package of European sanctions against Russia. RELATED
