Since the beginning of 2023, the Ukrainian international channel FreeDom has become available on the Portuguese telecommunications operators MEO and Vodafone Portugal.

MEO is the provider with the largest number of subscribers in the country. According to data at the end of the first half of 2022, the number of viewers is about two million. MEO transmits a television signal using fiber optic networks, satellite communication and ADSL modems.

Vodafone Portugal Comunicações Pessoais SA is a subsidiary of the telecommunications holding Vodafone Group. Vodafone Portugal has network coverage throughout the country, covering about 790.000 subscribers.
