SkyShowtime launches in new CEE markets today
On Tuesday, February 14, the new European streaming service SkyShowtime launched in Slovakia, as well as in the Czech Republic, Albania, Hungary, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Poland and Romania. On this occasion, the operator is currently offering all new customers a 50% discount from the standard monthly subscription price for life. SkyShowtime's 'Lifetime Half Price' offer is available for a limited time only and is subject to the operator's terms of use.
Customers in Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia and Slovakia will thus pay only EUR 2.99 per month instead of EUR 5.99 per month for a subscription under this offer. For this fee, they get access to world-class content, including first-run Hollywood films and new exclusive series from the world's biggest studios - all streamed on one platform. In Romania, customers pay only €1.99 per month instead of €3.99 per month. In the Czech Republic, the price of a monthly subscription will be 89 CZK instead of 179 CZK per month. In Hungary, the price of a monthly subscription will be HUF 999 instead of HUF 1999, and in Poland customers will pay only PLN 12.49 per month instead of PLN 24.99. From the launch of the service, local audiences will have access to the following titles: Ambulance, Downton Abbey: A New Era, Jerry and Marge Go Large, Jurassic World Dominion, Ray Donovan: The Movie, Redeeming Love, The Bad Guys, The Hanging Sun, The Northman and Top Gun: Maverick. In addition, subscribers will have access to a diverse selection of series including: 1883, 1923, A Friend Of the Family, All The Sins, American Gigolo, Funny Woman, Halo, Season 21 of Law & Order, Let The Right One In, 1st and Season 2 Mayor of Kingstown, Pitch Perfect: Bumper In Berlin, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Souls, Super Pumped: The Battle For Uber, The Best Man: The Final Chapters, The Calling, The Fear Index, The First Lady, The Midwich Cuckoos, The Offer, The Rising, Tulsa King, Vampire Academy and Yellowstone. Among the big movie and TV series releases coming to SkyShowtime in the coming months are the following highly anticipated titles: A Town Called Malice, Belfast, Drift – Partners In Crime (Season 1A), Lioness, Nope, Minions: The Rise of Gru, Rabbit Hole , Smile, The Black Phone and The Great Game. There's also content for kids and the whole family from Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon, DreamWorks Animation, Paramount+, SHOWTIME®, Sky Studios and Peacock. In addition to being available directly to consumers via the website: www.skyshowtime.com and the SkyShowtime app on devices running Apple iOS, tvOS, Android or Android TV, Google Chromecast and LG TV, SkyShowtime also announced today a partnership with Samsung. From February 14, customers in all markets will be able to watch SkyShowtime on selected Samsung Smart TVs from 2017 or newer with Tizen OS 3.0 or higher. RELATED
