Calinos Entertainment has been commissioned to distribute the Turkish version of award-winning Argentinean scripted series La Chica Que Limpia (The Cleaning Lady) from O3 Medya, the distributor announced today.

Starring Demet Ozdemir, Engin Akyurek, Firat Tanis, Senan Kara, Lale Basar, Oktay Cubuk, Mustafa Avkiran and Ali Surmeli, Farah” is the story of an Iranian woman, who had to run away from her country and is struggling to live in Istanbul, working as a cleaning lady in order to maintain the treatment of her son, but turns into a mafia accomplice at the end…

Written by Deniz Dargi, M. Cem Gorgec and S. Cenk Bogatur; Farah is the Turkish remake adapted from the original Argentinean drama. The US remake of the original series The Cleaning Lady is also an award-winner and lately won the Best Drama of 2022 Award by Women’s Image Network.

Directed by Recai Karagoz, starring Engin Akyurek and Demet Ozdemir, Farah airs every Wednesday and premiered on March 1st on Fox Turkey, as CEETV reported last week.
