NEM: DCD Rights sells multiple hours to CEE broadcasters
Leading UK-based distributor DCD Rights has sold multiple hours of programming across both scripted and unscripted to a number of leading channels within the CEE region, it was announced at the start of NEM Dubrovnik 2023.
Deals brokered by Sales Manager James Anderson include 72 hours of factual programming across titles such as Scottish Islands with Ben Fogle, Treasures with Bettany Hughes Series 1, James Martin’s Great British Adventure, A Taste of Italy with Nisha Katona and both series of Vintage Roads Great & Small to HRT in Croatia. Brand new titles Vanishing Act and Music, Money, Madness… Jimi Hendrix Live In Maui have been acquired by Canal+ in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, as well as both series of Warner Bros.’ drama Love Me which was previously announced. In addition, TV Spektrum in Poland has picked up Secret Nazi Bases Series 3, Aussie Gold Hunters Series 7 & 8 and Aussie Gold Hunters: Mine SOS. Whilst A+E Networks EMEA has bought Secret Societies: In the Shadows for Poland, Hungary and Romania. Anderson comments, “We are very pleased to have seen so much interest in our wide-ranging series across the CEE region and are looking forward to introducing more of our programming to a range of CEE buyers starting at NEM this week.” RELATED
