Ukrainian pubcaster’s websites under Russian cyberattack
Russia’s hacker group that goes by the name of Solntsepyok took responsibility for attacking the websites of Ukraine’s public broadcaster.
"Part of our sites is temporarily down. We are addressing the issue. At the same time, all Suspilne News platforms, in particular the suspilne.media site, are working without interruption," the broadcaster’s team said in a statement. This is not the first time Suspilne’s has been under attack – it was hacked and was temporarily down on March 1, 2022. Then they launched a virus that destroys files and jammed the UA:Pershy satellite signal. On March 4, 2022, Ukrainians began receiving e-mails with suspicious content allegedly from the press service of Suspilne. Also, the Suspilne news site was hacked on March 25, 2022, which slowed down the work of the resource. Suspilne also recorded that attempts were made to jam its signal on the Amos satellite from the territory of Russia. RELATED
