NATPE Budapest wraps with 20% jump in attendance figures
NATPE Budapest 2023 has just wrapped a very successful market week, with growth on every front, the organizers from Brunico Communications announced.
The event attracted 735 registered attendees - a 20% increase over the previous year—including 366 qualified buyers and 112 exhibitors. More than 400 companies and 60 countries were represented during the four days of deal making in Budapest. For the first time, NATPE Budapest welcomed official delegations from Spain, France, UK, Ukraine and the U.S. in partnership with Audiovisual from Spain, IFTA, OUP, Pact and Unifrance. The new Co-Pro Connections initiative also tried to help to create new partnerships between regional and international players. Another first was the exclusive report and presentation of market data from the region provided by the consultancy agency weCAN covering 16 CEE countries which also provided to download free of charge to all NATPE Budapest delegates. It was also the first time that a top media executive from the region delivered a keynote at NATPE Budapest. The presentation of TV2 Media Group CEO Pavel Stanchev was one of the most attended segments from the diverse conference program which also included the traditional PITCH & PLAY LIVE! Format Competition, co-organized by CEETV, and whose three finalists have already seen interest from potential international partners. RELATED
