Dmytro Rybakov, a soldier, journalist and historian, has been killed in action. Filmmaker and soldier Oleh Sentsov reported this on Facebook, writes Historical Pravda

"The war keeps taking away the best among us. Dima 'Reporter' surprised everyone, first with his insight and knowledge, and then with his bravery and courage. You never know how a person will behave in battle: some will freak out, some will fight like a lion. He fought like a lion and died like a hero. My friend, rest in peace! We will have to do the rest without you..." wrote Oleh Sentsov.

Before the war, Dmytro Rybakov was as an editor and media consultant at Chas.News, "Forbes Ukraine", LB, "Ukrainian Pravda".

He was also a PhD in history and often wrote texts on historical subjects. Dmytro is the author of the article "Why and how the history of Ukraine should be rewritten" for "Historical Pravda".

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Dmytro Rybakov had been defending Ukraine in the ranks of the UAF separate mechanized brigade No. 47.

Andriy Farisey, the chief editor of Chas.News, where Dmytro Rybakov had worked until 2021, said in his comment to IMI that the man often missed deadlines, but his works were worth waiting for. He also mentioned that the journalist has two children.

According to IMI, Dmytro Rybakov is the 65th media worker killed in the course of Russia's aggression.
