Handball Bundesliga coming to Sport Klub this season
United Media, the leading media company in Southeast Europe, and the Handball Bundesliga have signed a multi-year contract on exclusive rights to broadcast matches of the top German handball league on Sport Klub channels in Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and North Macedonia.
Sport Klub viewers will have the chance to watch the three most exciting Bundesliga matches live every round, along with the complete DHB Cup and Super Cup, during the 34-week season starting this fall. This league features the current European champion Magdeburg, the EHF Champions League winner Füchse Berlin, and other European giants like Kiel, Flensburg, Lemgo, Rhein-Neckar, Gummersbach, and more. The Handball-Bundesliga is Europe’s strongest national handball championship, according to the EHF’s official ranking. Two teams from this league will compete in the Champions League this season (Magdeburg and Kiel), while three teams participated in the EHF European League last season (Füchse Berlin, Flensburg, and Frisch Auf Göppingen). “We have always been dedicated to handball. Throughout the last 17 years, Sport Klub has given great importance to this sport through live broadcasts, and we are thrilled to offer the best national handball league this season. Fans can enjoy exciting matches between German and European giants in every league round,” stated the CEO of Sport Klub Nemanja Simeunovic. The German Handball Bundesliga expressed great satisfaction with the partnership with Sport Klub due to its extensive popularity and coverage in the region. Broadcasting top-level handball to viewers in all six countries will contribute to the league’s, clubs’, and players’ increased popularity. RELATED
