CME appoints Branimir Marić as CTIO
CME has appointed Branimir Marić as CME’s first Chief Technology and IT Officer (CTIO). In this newly created role, Mr. Marić, who will reside in Prague, will use his extensive industry knowledge to strengthen CME’s core technological competencies in order to achieve the seamless delivery of CME’s digital strategy, accelerate technological innovation and optimize all digitally driven customer platforms across the regional CME footprint.

A native of Croatia, Mr. Marić most recently served as CTIO at A1 Hrvatska in Zagreb, Croatia, and previously held CTIO positions at T-Mobile Czech Republic and Slovak Telekom. His career also saw him working with Deutsche Telekom in various technology roles and in many of the same countries as CME. With a strong background in IT, TV distribution and digital infrastructure sectors, he is a highly skilled technology professional with a proven track record. His focus on building strong delivery teams and empowering colleagues to deliver on advanced technology strategies has enabled organizations to overcome complex technological challenges and drive significant change.
