Electric Entertainment and BluTV, the SVOD service and online platform for Turkish series in the Middle East, North Africa and Latin America, confirmed that they have entered into an agreement to license five of Electric's hit series at MIPCOM.

The deal includes SVOD rights to the recently released Syfy original series The Ark; the Amazon Freevee original series, Leverage: Redemption; the police series Almost Paradise; and two fantasy adventures, The Librarians and The Outpost.

The negotiations were led by Nolan Pielak, Senior VP of International Distribution at Electric Entertainment and Deniz Şaşmaz Oflaz, CEO of BluTV.

“Our shows have cultivated a dedicated fan base around the world, expanding to new platforms and channels everywhere. BluTV is the perfect partner for us to bring each of our programs to new audiences in Turkey,” said Pielak.

“Each of these original series produced and created by Electric Entertainment has enjoyed a long and successful run with a substantial audience and a devoted fan base. What wonderful programming to offer our viewers,” added Şaşmaz Oflaz.

The deal includes The Ark (S1 and S2), Leverage: Redemption (S1 and S2), Almost Paradise (S1 and S2), The Librarians (S1, S2, S3 and S4) and The Outpost (S1, S2, S3 and S4). Also included are two seasons of the Civil War period series Mercy Street.
