The first episodes of the new Ukrainian drama In Her Car were presented to the MIPCOM delegates as so far six out of ten episodes have been completed.

The series tells the story of Lydia (Anastasia Karpenko), a psychologist who, after the Russian invasion of February 24, 2022, decides to help refugees so they can reunite with their loved ones or bring them to safety. During these improvised therapy sessions, flashbacks are interspersed that show the characters' past lives, putting them in perspective.

The series is co-produced by the German arm of Gaumont and Starlight Media and distributed internationally by Beta Film. The premiere in Ukraine will take place on the STB channel in 2024.
