ATV Distribution announced that Romania has become the first country to license ATV Turkey's new drama Safir. The series was acquired by Antena Group during the MIPCOM market in Cannes. It will air on Happy Channel.

The story of Safir revolves around the life of one of Cappadocia’s most prominent families -the Gulsoy family- which is finally reunited after a long period apart from the arrival of the eldest son, Ates, from America.

Feraye and Yaman have been in love with each other since they were children, but they have kept their feelings hidden from everyone. On Feraye’s birthday, Yaman’s brother Okan accidentally becomes involved in a crime, which turns everyone’s life upside down. Yaman will be compelled to marry Aleyna to protect his brother. Meanwhile, Ates will marry Feraye to reunite his family and safeguard Feraye’s son.
